Early Years Class
We accept children 2.5 years old and toilet trained. The focus of this class is organized into four domains: social-emotional development, language development, cognitive development and perceptual/motor development.
Each child will be given opportunities to problem solve with adult support. What does that look like? Children are asked questions that lead them to solutions that are satisfactory and successful. That success translates into independence and healthy self-esteem.
The total number of children each day in this classroom does not exceed 14.
Pre-K Class
The California Preschool Learning Foundations are the focus of this classroom as we prepare children for success in Kindergarten.
The Foundations focus on the domains of social-emotional development, language and literacy, English-language development, mathematics, visual and performing arts, physical development, health, history–social science and science. The curriculum matrix targets each of these domains with activities that encourage the children to play and learn.
The total number of children each day in the classroom does not exceed 16.
